As you most probably have realized, I loooove cooking! Cooking for y’all is a pleasure for me, a way of expressing my creativity, and a way of making more elaborate food that I would not otherwise make daily if I would be cooking for myself only.
My daily special is a dish I make weekly and it changes every week.
The staples are:
The Lasagna: my homemade lasagna, made from scratch, with homemade egg pasta, omemade ragu’ bolognese, homemade besciamelle sauce, cheese and so on. One of my customers reported: “My little brother, after trying your lasagna, said he wants to be called Garfield from now on”. Definitely a must try!
The Eggplant Parmesan: another “takes a whole day to make” kind of dish, with organic eggplant fried in extravirgin olive oil (not canola oil nor just olive oil, bu the same top quality extravirgin olive oil I use for all of my food!), organic tomato sauce, cheese and so on.
The Potato Gateaux: 2 layers of organic mashed potatoes my way, with a filling of pepperoni, egg, and fontina cheese, baked until it melts (yum!).
